Aim of the journal

To publish original research, review, and problem-oriented papers addressing current issues in Biology (within the journal’s scientific cluster and scope).

Objectives of the journal

- To provide a peer-reviewed platform for publishing original research articles and comprehensive review papers.

- To cover key subject areas including Environmental Sciences & Ecology, Nutrition, Health & Biochemistry, Biotechnologies and Medicine, Evolution & Tree of Life, Taxonomy/Systematics & Biodiversity, and Sustainable Cities & Society.

- To ensure external and internal review of all submitted manuscripts and maintain editorial quality standards.

- To support open science and international collaboration in biological research.

- To serve the needs of researchers, early-career scientists (including PhD students and students), and technology-driven companies.
